Virbrance Ingredients

Naturally derived vs. Naturally occurring: Naturally occurring is defined as a natural product that is delivered in a natural form. Naturally derived means some ingredients derived from nature have been used to artificially create a product that is delivered in an unnatural form. The meaning of plant based and naturally derived. Our ingredients are derived from plants.

Frankincense and Myrrh are derived from the gummy sap that oozes out of the Boswellia and Commiphora trees, respectively, when their bark is cut. The leaking resin is allowed to harden and scraped off the trunk in tear-shaped droplets; it may then be used in its dried form or steamed to yield essential oils.

Frankincense is used as an anti-inflammatory, astringent, antiseptic solution, disinfectant, deodorant, digestive aid and diuretic.  Myrrh oil served as a rejuvenating facial treatment, while frankincense was charred and ground into a powder to make the heavy kohl eyeliner Egyptian women famously wore. Both substances are edible and often chewed like gum. They are also extremely fragrant, particularly when burned. These two items have been traded in the Middle East and North Africa for upwards of 5000 years. Egyptians bought entire boatloads of the resins using them in incense, insect repellent, salves for wounds and sores. They were the key ingredients in the embalming process.

In earlier times, frankincense and myrrh may have been worth more than their weight in gold! During more recent times, alternative practitioners continue to prize the resins for their healing properties.

V Magic (olive oil, avocado oil, honey, oil) is made of oils… and does not necessarily innately have therapeutic characteristics. Vibrance is a system: it is a cleanser and serum that penetrates the skin and creates softness and suppleness.

My V-Line products will have very light plant-derived fragrance to help with vaginal and/or vulva odor. Vibrance particularly with frankincense and myrrh because of its natural fragrance and deodorant properties.
